Do you all remember when I was in High School I worked at Arby's? Well, this was the one!!!

Arby's Restaurant Destroyed
In Independence, an Arby's fast-food restaurant at Highway 291 and Gudgell Road was sheared off its foundation. Much of the building ended up at a business next door.
I'm sure you heard about the Pawn Shop in Gladstone that got destroyed too, well, it was only a few miles from our house! Scary!!! But this is about the worst we got!
And as for new life:
After the crazy storms cleared, I went to help Joe and Shawnie move into their new apartment.
They were very excited! I was able to get in contact with their new Relief Society Pres. and got an email out to find stuff for them! Thank goodness for kind people doing spring cleaning!!!
Here are a few shots of their new apartment:
They are still in need of a bunch of food and especially a microwave!!! So, if you have anything else, let them know!!!
Well, I am excited for Misty and baby shower this weekend!!!
Wooo hooo!!! Hope to see some of you there! Love ya!

Man those storms were crazy, I'm glad you guys didn't get too much damage! I wish we could have been there to help out Shawntel & Joe... we were at Dave Ramsey all day. So they still need a microwave, any other specific things I can watch out for? Let me know... see you Saturday!
hey - we've decided to name the new baby Jackson Robert. Jackson after Kizzie's great uncle Jack, and then Robert after her dad. My family has nothing but weird names pretty much (My grandparents names, for example, are/were Leon, Maurine, Verdell, and Beryl). Ya, we're not using any of those.
On a side note, looks like the storms were pretty vicious... I'm sure many tears were shed in memory of your Arby's.
We saw your Dad down the street from my parent's house the other day, so we stopped and talked with him for a couple minutes. He seems to be doing ok.
Have a grand ol' day. - Andy
